This is to inform all the people in Chennai and India especially who are interested in learning Muaythai and Kickboxing!

There are Many Martial arts enthusiast in the country who have little knowledge about Karate or other Sports based Martial arts are jumping into Muaythai and Kickboxing to cash in on the popularity of the Art, Muaythai is a developing art in India and there are only few authorized professional clubs in the country, the problem now is many master's especially from Karate who have never heard of Muaythai before the movie Blood Sport, Kickboxer and Enter the New Dragon ( by Tony Jaa) have started taking classes and the people who are really affected by this are the poor students who are no knowledge about the ART completely trust their teacher and end up paying heavy fee for this. in the time of need that is only in the real life fighting situation they will come to know that what they have learnt is of no real use and the end up rating the ART as cheap or useless. Unless you learn the Art from a Proper Master you wont be able to feel or learn the real essence of the Art such as Kickboxing or Muaythai. Students of the masters who have suddenly started teaching Kickboxing or Muaythai should ask their masters from where they learned art? and they should be very careful in selecting a teacher especially when it is a budding art in their locality such as Kickboxing AND Muaythai!

GRADES IN MUAYTHAI

Unlike most of the eastern form of Martial art Muaythai does'nt have a grading systems (until very recently) only the western and European clubs which teach Kickboxing issues Belt to develop their club. A professional Muaythai club concentrate more on the fights and spend time in improving their skills rather than promoting their ranks, Pro Muaythai fighters will be least bothered about your belt you. In the BOUT all it counts is your skill which you have gained out of quality practice and trust me grades are no testimony for you skills

Why is a religion targeted

Islam, the religion of peace but the way some "practicing Muslim"are welcomed with a slight sense of fear and what runs in their minds who bump with these men are "is he a pro fundamentalist?"," will he have any links with extremist?" or is he here for any wrong doings?" "will our links with him land us in trouble?" a Pro Muslim in today's world is closely linked with terror and unlike many cases you cannot blame the society for that, it unfortunate that they are hand picked every now and then and every one with a Muslim name is thoroughly frisked in the American Airports including that of Shah Rukh Khan!

Post 9/11 every European countries and the US are worried about their security and they are extra cautious with the way security checks are done and in a ways it should be accepted because it is better to be safe than sorry, though the Muslim world was and still is up in arms for frisking them often, I don't think their point can be justified, majority of the extremists show their violence in the act to please their God they take their holy scriptures to boost their moral and to justify their act, a place in heaven is said to be reserved for every solider who dies in this holy war! When so much of religion is embedded with extremism it is highly impossible for a common to feel easy with an unknown, strictly "Practicing Muslim". For example imagine this scenario, If I am from New York and if majority of the crimes from around the world are executed by the people in New York it is natural that I will be frisked and isolated by strangers where ever I go there is nothing strange or partial about it, its a common human psychology, what I can do is convince my fellow people in New York to get back from the crime (which is not that easy) 2) I should let everybody know that I am not sympathizing with them 3) will explain to the whole world that simply because I share the same place I don't share their ideology 4) and the the most important point is that I should understand the reason why I am frisked rather than getting angry with other. Recently I saw a group which looks like indirectly defending the extremist produced a big list of extremists activities which happened and claimed that extremists activities are handled by people of all faith but the one thing which they failed to recognize or dint want to explain was a big big majority of the extremists who are from various other faiths did not do it in the name of their religion! people from almost all the faiths are part of some extremists groups, that is for sure, but still the reason Islam is been hand picked is because a big majority of them are Extremists who preach Islam and the people who are involved in other faiths doesn't do it on behalf of their religion, example if there is a Christian Extremist, we don't brand them as "Christian Extremist Group" because he is not doing it for the sake of his religion, he has is own motives to get involved in the violence, in many cases it is a civil war. Having said that there are Christian Extremist Groups which are present in the Europe but they are not active, their activities and attacks are not large in scale, they can never be compared to what the present day extremist are doing, where as in case of a extremists from Islam -- they are driven by their holy scriptures. We have to understand that Islam stands for peace and if extremist and driven by these holy scriptures they are cent percent wrongly motivated for some people personal ego and for many peoples political reasons.

Many Muslim scholars have come out in the open and condemned these act but still there are many who believe that they need more proofs and some are even ready to argue with counter proofs, those who still have doubts that if what is going on in the Holy War is extremism should read the verses in the Holy Quran which says that

"whoever kills an innocent, it is as if he has killed all mankind; and whoever saves a person, it is as if he has saved all mankind.” Koran

These extremist and the one who are backing them up from the society should understand that they are the ones who seriously damaging their religion and not the one's who frisk them. A True Practicing Muslim can never be equated with extremists and those are involved in the cruel killings of innocent people can never be Muslims
