Muaythai

The reason why I think Muaythai as the best in martial arts is because, the ultimate aim of every martial art is the make one defend himself in the streets. I firmly believe martial arts is not about winning medals or posing Hifi kicks, there are only part and self motivational techniques to go further, if we are simply winning and posing for photos be sure you are going no further. Muaythai is a combination of kicks including kicks below the belt + punches to the face including elbow strikes which makes it deadly. Though many martial arts include punches to the face and knee kicks they don't apply it while practicing sparring. You cannot replicate a street fight sessions no matter what you do, I will make it short. why Muaythai is the best because 1.It lets you use boxing punches 2. You can kick below the waist (not groin) 3. you can use your elbows, (naturally you expect your opponent in the streets to do all this right? or will you can tell him that punching in the face and kicks below my belt foul!) :) finally 4. Simple non-complicated moves, simple moves are the best because at the time your Aldrin is riding high there is no guarantee that you will be remembering that magic, fancy moves which is best used in movies!, you should be finishing it quickly and move on, Imagine your body as a building, in muaythai they target the basement with knee kicks and the top floor with boxing punching, you cannot avoid boxing punches when you talking about realistic self defense, in muaythai they use the technique K.I.S.S which is nothing but Keeping It Super Simple! the moves are short and damn effective and they practice it on and on and on and on... joints are the key areas which one is used to attack and defend Boxing punches are very essential to be street effective fights, if you have at least witnessed a street fight you will know why its so important, a rogue will have no idea how to kick but definitely he will punch, won't be technically right put if your bring your face before his wild swinging fist you could be knocked down in quickly, once you start practicing boxing punches (even with a head guard) you will be a better fighter, a complete fighter. or else you should be practicing something like Kyokushin Kai! in spite of avoiding boxing punches they are deadly too but still they use knee kicks :). Anything in the full contact format is the best if you want to defend you self. remember this if you have chosen martial arts to defend yourself in the streets. Muaythai is practical, street effective and easy to use and Art of eight limbs is one of the best, once you have decided to learn Muaythai be careful in selecting a club there are lots of Martial art teachers who promises to teach Muaythai, make sure that they are have been into Muaythai especially if you are a beginner! you will have no clue if you are completely knew to martial art its likely that you will be deceived easily. There are masters who are ready to teach anything "new" lol.. wheather its Kickboxing Muaythai or any other emerging art they will quickly cash in , so beware. Read my blog on "Fake Masters"

Change the Climate Change

Climate change has been the biggest threat for the human existence, bigger than the terror attacks, if we are to continue to avoid addressing this threat the world might not be a better place for you and for me. The energy which we release through automobile, computers, Air conditions and other electronic items which WE have to use unfortunately in our daily lives are the main reason behind this. Its not possible to avoid these cool gadgets and a rewind but we can definitely slow down the global warming by reducing the emission released through our own things, the impact might be very little but defiantly it will be counted and remember every bit counts so why not do it for the better. If you have no idea what GLOBAL WARMING is I can put in simple words, by the use of automobiles and electronic items we increase the average climate of our earth, by increasing the temperature the glaciers of the Himalayas, the icy landscapes of the Antarctica and the North poles will start melting and this will result in the increase of sea level. We know that 75% of earth is covered by water and by the increasing the water in sea level we will be doing it 100% !! Lands in the coastal regions will be the first to hit but the increase will make sure that every piece of land on earth is under water. For a frighting experience of this watch movies like "The day after tomorrow" and "Flood" passing our planet to the next generation safely or making it a complete mess lies in our hands, don't expect every one to follow but please make sure that you are following. some of the simple thins that we can do to delay global warming is traveling in public transport, bicycling to the next street rather than using our bikes, switching off lights which we don't use, making sure that no needless lights are switched on once we leave home, repairing our taps which will save gallons of water. Average person produces 26 tonnes of CO2 per year !

Blackle is a Google product which is nothing but a search engine with Google's efficiency with a black background "Blackle.com - Saving energy one search at a time". this might help a little bit but it definitely helps, please use this instead of Google, use loose nothing and this is the main reason I decided to change my blog color to black, it might be pissing in the ocean but I believe I can make a change. In this time of the year the developed and the poor countries of the world are blaming each other for the climate change, but please understand that every human on his own can make a change

Some of the Christian Missioners in India are here for pure business and nothing else, free bies are provided for those who are ready to convert into their religion. Education is completely given at free of cost if I am to convert, the strategy resembles the techniques used by some of the business brands in the telecoms sector, if they are really onto wipe out the poverty in a nation like India and other African and poor countries in the south east Asia, and if they are really religious about what they are doing they should have done it regardless of the religion and cast, offering freebies to the one who converts into their religion is selling GOD! they are simply exploiting the poverty and the uneducated masses in countries like India, I am not writing this blog against Christianity and am not a religious fanatic and I have no problems in mingling with the people of any religion or race but there are many converted and converting christian groups in the country who are taking it up as a business like MLM -- Multilevel Marketing. I once met a pastor who was introduced by my friend. He wanted me to just have a chat with him because my friend told me "he is saying that all other religion other than his religion is evil" and he felt that I chatting with him will make the topic interesting. After introducing my self to him, the first question he asked was "what is your idea about god?" I replied "our mind is our god" he was confused and later I explained my perception about god, but he then started to give lectures on what is God? why should we all be converted into Christianity, I was debating and arguing with him on every point he made. At the end he had to go home since it was getting late, the next day my friend told me that the pastor has told his mom that I have evil spirits inside me and its that spirit which was doing all the talking. After a week I had a discussion with him regarding evil spirits and he told me that he had just made a man free from evil spirits a few hours back and he claimed that he was able to sense evil spirits, so I made him to play in PeterAnswers dot com, which is a spooky site but a prank one too because if I will get a valid answer on what thing I ask on that site, THE RULE is there would be a petition box in which I have to type "peter, please answer the following question" and below there will be question boxing where I have to type the question which I want. For example one can ask "what is my name" what is the colour of my t shirt" what is my profession?" and strangle it would be exactly correct because its a prank, the trick lies with the guy who is typing the question in the petition box, so if I want to make my friend a fool I can do that easily by asking question regarding him and I have done that too many of my close friends, they would look puzzled, scared and every one would have a puzzled look in their face. Keeping this in mind I told the pastor that this is a site which predicts everything but he quickly said only God has the power to predict and not any one, then I told him to give it a try, I was typing the question and he asked "who is the creator of the world" I encrypted the answer as "god" he was stunned but told me "see even this software knows the truth" my other friend who knew what was happening told me " I don't belong to your religion but the answer even suits to my religion" then I told him that I will ask his name, he told me that since he was very pure and religious the website won't be able to figure out what is the name but since I knew how to operate the website I had no trouble in entering his name, he was stunned and told me that this website is evil and lots of sacrifice in the form of blood has been given to create this kind of a system. I asked him how does he know that, he told me that he can sense evil, I again asked him is this the same kind of evil which he released a few hours back? he said yes, then after a small debate I told this is nothing but a prank! But the funnier side wasthat he was denying the fact that it is a prank and told me that it is a website of evil, then I explained how it works. He was angry and puzzled and asked us "so where you guys cheating me?" I told this was only to show that he was lying and he had nothing to do with the spirits. He was embarrassed and went away and visited his home only after making sure that we are not present! These are the kind of people who claim that their way is the only way! its nothing more than a source of income for guys like him! I am no religious fanatic, I believe in Jesus as I believe in Krishna and according to my understand the problem between regions arise while converting or comparing one with the other. Religion is interpretation of people who lived in different part of the world, in the middle east its Islam,and in the West its Christianity and in the south east its Buddhism and there are many which have not come out, the interpretation of the people may differ but GOD doesn't. I don't think any atheist has ever destroyed a temple or church, the ugly fight is always between the spiritual masses but the irony is "In God we Trust"

Kickboxing is not "jumping with Boxing Gloves", that is what some Martial Art clubs do. THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH KICKBOXING OTHER THAN BROWSING YouTube and shouting out loud counts 1 2 3.. I repeat "BEWARE"

Hunting Cowered

Hunting has been one of the most celebrated activity or adventure or a time pass or what ever you may call a manly thing to do in our society. Which was started as rich man's hobby still continues to lobby around in our society. I am glad that after some actors getting caught more attention has been given to this subject. "If a man kills an animal its hunting and if an animal does the same its an attack" One shouldn't forget that its we who are enlarging over society and not the animals, so if you decided to stay in forest (which many villagers do) you should be ready for the attack and you shouldn't be complaining on an animal attack because its you who have choosed to live with them. Tigers attacking villagers is news which we hear again and again its because we have entered their boundaries and mostly it would be in the middle of their route to the river or something else.. its we who are disturbing the tigers or some other animals that takes the blame at the end of the day. If he is so thrilled to prove his manly skills he should be doing it in a MMA ring, if he wants to show his accuracy it should be done in the shooting alley or in the archery circuit. Killing an animal and posing with it is nothing short of a cowardly act

MUMBAI INDIANS

On November 20th around 15 people of the shiv sena stormed into the IBN office in Mumbai and Pune and started to do their work religiously..that is to break valuable things and to thrash people the reason given by the shiv sena was that they attacked people who spoke against their chief Bal Thackeray and all this was done only because the channel had commented on Bal Thackery's response to sachin tendulkar's comment ""Mumbai belongs to all Indians. I am a Maharashtrian and am extremely proud of that. But I am an Indian first," he said at a press conference on Friday. it was this quote that irritated Thackery, what is wrong in this ? isn't Mumbai for every Indian? can't a Mumbaikar claim that he is an Indian first? and Bal Thackery responded in his party's mouth piece "samna"

many people in the media and from other parts of the society have supported Sachin Tendulkar but I think there should have been a even bigger NEWS against Bal Thackery for accusing an Indian for putting his country first. Mumbai has loads and loads of problems which needs to be addressed at this point, after destroying the IBN's office the Chief minister and the top cops have promised that who ever is responsible for this will be behind bars, can we expect at least some high profile shiv sena men being arrested for this uncivilized attack which continues to haunt the city's peace and pride again and again and again. The Government which runs the state should promise its people that such things will never happen against the media or against any individual simply because he comments on a party. similar videos of political party should be shown to larger number of people and the people should realize the way a particular party behaves if they get the power. I am glad that they dint stop "non mumbaikars" in the NSG's and others on 26th, 27th and 28th of 2008 in Mumbai.

Photography : Ever since I saw a camera I wanted to take all the photos in a family get together rarely I was allowed to touch on a real camera and finally on one fine evening I took my first photo in Spencer plaza when I was 9, after the age of Digital Photo revolution my curiosity and the love to take portraits and pictures of my self grew more, during a Martial Art demo in Pollachi (Southern Tamil Nadu) in the 2002, I managed to get permission to take all the snaps for my club, no one knew that it was the first time I was given a camera, a normal film type camera model, as the show begin a very shocking incident took place it seems that the organizer was conducting a demo for the first time so he had very little idea of how to do a demo with some fire materials, the plan was a young girl doing her higher secondary schooling was about to break tiles which was set on fire but to everybody's surprise the whole stage started to ignited (no one was injured) I had the camera in my hand but I was in a dialema whether to take snaps of the moment or to help people get out, I was not in a hurry to run out of the hall because I was every sure that running out with the crowed will only make the matters worse and it was not such a big chaos too but at the same time I didn't have the courage to take snaps because I felt that every body would scold me later because that things settled down well and I completed my first photo shoot completely. I took snaps in which ever angels I felt without any one's interpreting. After a couple of weeks when the photos where take from the studio I was shocked to see that in one of the pics where my senior was jumping in the air after crossing 10 people lying down - - I was shocked that his head was out of the frame!@# apart from some minor mistakes like that :) everything was well lol, years later I meet a cinema photographer actually a cinematographer and wanted to learn Photography from him but since he was very frank with me he told me that Photography was a very expensive hobby and not to committed unless I can afford it completely initially I was interested but after looking at the price of the lens and camera which a professional had to have, I decided to be a freelance photographer taking pictures in mobile camera I love to take self portraits of myself and now taking snaps in non SLR digital cameras, I just love it! love every snap I take..

Palmistry, Palmist

I encountered palmistry in the 2002 book fair in Chennai, I bought a book on palmistry by Lakshmi Doss, it was my first step towards the occult, though I won't recommend any to learn Palmistry through Books and start predicting. if you are interested in anything the books and the e books will only help you to ignite your passion don't think you have learned completely by finishing the book, cause that is on of the big mistakes I did. After a long time (2009) I wanted to learn Palmistry and started searching for classes in Chennai, then finally I came across aN add " Bhuvana's collage of astrology and Palmistry" I spoke to the head Mr.Anu Venkat and enrolled into its 2 month course but the course went further and I was able to learn more about palmistry I was very happy that I was under the guidance of a man who was in this field since 1986 and he during all this years has challenged various traditional theories in palmistry and given his new theories which is completely different from the age old ones, he says that he is 94% different from a traditional palmist! thats kool.. today I am certified palmistry but I am not predicting anything, I am collecting various samples of people from different walks of life and trying to do a research of my own so that I will get a clear view of this ocean

Osho

OSHO experience: Anything which involved the Zen and religious teachings only surprised and stunned me, I was interested in occult thanks to Madras, during our city's annual book festival in the year 2002 I went their with a friend of mine, though I first visited a book exhibition in the early 90's (the same event) The book exhibition is a regular event in the city which takes place annually and I can see its only growing rapidly growing as every year passes and it happened once, on a Sunday evening as I was slowly browsing through the books shops, I entered a book store which was something very religious I saw various books by a saint and the books in the front row was that of " Autobiography of an Yogi" though I dint have enough money to buy the book and enjoy the evening I settled for a another which I don't remember the title now I am sorry for that I was very happy once I got the book into my hands I started to read it there itself but since I did not want to miss any books store further I had to keep the book in the cover and then I with no proper reason entered a book store it just had a four letter word and many books of a man with a large beard in various kinds of dresses after I had no clue of why I went in there a man came to us and asked "have you heard of Osho?" I said "no" are you interested in "philosophies" I said "yes" then told me something which I don't remember but he recommended to read books by "Osho" and he gave me a book and told me to take any page of my choice and start reading and I won't be feeling anything missed or reading as if I have missed the previous chapter and did what he said and as I was reading his discourse on Krishna, love and why people had the name Radhakrishana, from the moment go I was hooked on to it but since I couldn't afford the book he suggested me to buy Osho Time which was only 6 Rs or 5 because it was old issues I bought a book and left the store again I started reading on the way and I felt something good something very pleasing as though I have found all the answers in the world, or the strength to face anything under the sky I had jus started to read but I felt great, immediately I went back but lost the track of the store but then finally managed to get the book store number in the entrance and went back I browsed for some time and brought 5 to 6 issues of Osho Times and thanked the guy who explained me everything, from that day on Osho has been part of me, I searched of Osho times asia edition but couldn't find it anywhere but then I managed to get it and then the Osho world magazines after that I started hunting for Osho books in "moore" market which is famous for second hand books in Chennai and various things, later I brought Osho's VCD I was really excited to listen to the masters voice and things he would do, the sound in the introduction was splendid it had a different feel but I was only listening to the various things which the commune had to offer I thought I won't be listening to Osho at all so I lost my patience and forwarded the cd and then I was into his talks, seeing it for the first time, I was stunned on seeing the enlighten master for the first time after that I started to watch his videos in Youtube in Osho's channel and began to interact with the his followers and people who visited his commune, I will visiting his commune soon

The other side of Kids Karate, Black Belt and more

This blog is also related to Martial arts, you might be wondering why most of my blogs are related to martial arts that is because I have not immersed completely into anything as much as Martial Arts and even if I am to direct a movie that would have something related to Martial Arts :), now coming back to the subject, ever since I started learning Karate I have always seen groups of Kids flocking the dojo (Martial Arts class room) even I started at the young age of 10, I felt that I would be able to kick a man out but I don't know why I never felt it realistic when I see a young guy kicking a man's life out in demonstrations or for a photo shoots. The "kids karate" band wagon now is more louder than it was ever before. To be frank I can never imagine a kid defending himself in the street fight simply because of the mind set of an young soul and shear size of an adult, there are various benefits a kid gains during a martial art session no one can deny that, for example its a nice place to have fun with the other kids, the exercise which he does along with the senior students improves is confidence level, Actually I am not at against "Kids Karate" if he has to fight with his class mate there are chance that he would easily over power him but unfortunately the same cannot be done when he is fighting with an adult. Never come to a conclusion by seeing demonstration of a kid taking on 4 to 6 guys which you would have easily seen in a Karate Demonstrations or demonstrations of other Martial Art, the reason why I use Karate as an example is there is no Martial Art in this whole world which is as popular as Karate. Karate has the maximum number students when it comes to learning self defense. I have seen some kids with amazing abilities to kick and some who can generate a natural flair of power in their kicks and punches but they are not that common, these abilities are in born and the master should insure that the talent is not wasted. the ratio of those kids may be one in a thousand or the ratio may be even wider

The black belts Kids: I think some of you are seeing this as an "anti kids karate" blog, no its not but I see a little kid with a Black Belt I jus go Omg!!!! this is something which is completely out of proposition, I think the kid is given a wrong signal, to start with I don't think its fair to give away black belts to kids unless they are extremely talented, I have seen clubs which gives away Black Belt to kids every year simply because he or she is a member in the club for 2 and a half years and cause he/she has learned all the Katas (moving meditation, forms in Karate) by heart (though its no little achievement) which is ridicules, a black belt should always be given based on the performance of a candidate, the primary and the most important thing to insure is if he able to defend himself when his life or his belongings are in threat. There should be no compromise in issuing a black belt, no one should be issued a black belt in different standards, I personally feel that giving Belts Belts to kids is a very sensitive issue and it should be handled with care
The better side of Kids learning Karate: Its no secret that what a normal kid has to undergo in the name of Education, a kid today should indulge in some kinds of activities other than Education but once again it should not be forced onto him, if he is in peace with the just playing some thing with his friends in his apartments it should be accepted, If a kid is in my class I won't be expecting perfection in his work its not because I don't care or because I can easily milk his parents, its because I don't have the heart to dictate a kid after his tiresome schooling periods but at the same time I would never under estimate the degree of a black belt and grand him it with love, there should be a different set of syllabus for a kids sessions and it should be filled with fun and some learning tips on self defense, giving a Belt Belt to a normal kid simply because because he has completed the kata's will only give their parents a false sense of security. I will surely do justice to both, my art and to my student, I respect my art and my students so there is no question of issuing of Black Belts unless he is a "super kid" who can take on an adult on any given day

My Romance with Martial Arts

The Martial Art way: I started practicing Karate in the late 90's and and later I was into practicing serious Kickboxing, though I tried out some other forms of Martial Arts I decided to stick with Kickboxing since I felt it very realistic compared to other arts which I was into. I practiced Kickboxing for nearly 7 years out of which I attended 2 years continuously that is almost 730 days non-stop kicking, punching and horning , receiving a black belt in Kickboxing was a major boost to my confidence level but black belt is a double edged sword cause it was tough to retain your position as a Kickboxing practitioner because you slowly sense that you have mastered the art and now its time to teach your juniors. Though teaching juniors only does improve your skill its equally important to keep on practicing, a zen story says that once the that the dust settles on the glass and it stop reflecting, it only by practice we can keep the dust at bay, practice is a never ending process and no one can run away from it, its much like an up rowing boat, once you stop rowing you don't stay there, you will hit the floor, your idea should be to go as much as possible because in a art only sky is the limit, late I decided to practice Muaythai, actually getting into muaythai was a pleasant surprise because it was not pre planned. One of my senior members in the club went to Thailand to learn Muaythai and I was supposed to practice with him, to be frank Muaythai is its too tough and so raw, I couldn't practice it on a regular basis in the initial stages, as far as I am concerned Muaythai is the best in stand up fighting, other than jumping to your favorite song nothing drains you and refreshes you as much as a muaythai session so I am very happy and eager to learn some lessons in muaythai, the things which you practice is so real that there is no need to switch gears one you are into a real life fighting situation even today I practice Kickboxing which has tuned by flexibility and my confidence to great extend and I am also looking forward to learn Taichi, Taichi is more of a martial art to the soul than to defend one self and I also looking forward to learn Kobudo but after nearing my 10th year in Martial arts which I am so proud of I think should be firmly rooted before trying out anything different. One of the things which I am really concerned about is the fakes in Kickboxing

Bullying still hauts our collages

My friend who is doing 1st year Physics in Chennai was traumatized by the incident which happened to him last week, his cheek bones are swelling both his arm where hit ruthlessly hit by rods, ribs punched, neck injured and even his spine was not sparred all this because he dint bother to listen to what his seniors had to say, his dad is all set to give a formal complaint to the police department but I have him to first file a complaint to the collage management, isn't this the duty of the collage management to take care of the students life inside the collage campus? my friend who is a Pilot from the United States of America is now back in India to pass the conversion test so that he could be a professional pilot for which he has spent 2 years in the US 1 year in getting the papers done and a whooping 35 Lakh rupees(in the US alone) could well be running into the worst night mare of his life if he fails to pass the physical test which he will be undergoing shortly, even the strongest of the punishment to the students who involved in this ugly act may not be an appropriate judgment to my friend who has toiled to get the PLR license in his name. I think there should be a bigger public awareness program conducted and the students who are bully-ed should bravely come forward and complaint this to the collage authorities, its because they hesitate to complaint things like this happens again and it is also important that every one should know what are the punishment if a student is ragged or bully-ed. The important part is the students who are forced to do such things in the name of ragging shouldn't continue this when they are seniors

For the moment my friend has filed a complaint against the seniors who man handled him and the collage management are swiftly taking necessary steps to get hold of the seniors

The word occult comes from the Latin word occultus which means clandestine or hidden or secret in other words "knowledge of the hidden" Today many of them dismiss it to be a superstitious practice, The irony is most of them check what their horoscope predicts in their newspaper column or online, that is why horoscope is one of the most searched topic in the history of Google search, but in general a modern mans view is that anything which is occult is superstitious, how stupid that is... it doesn't convince me simply because I believe that he lacks basic knowledge in this field, he hesitates to go into the occult, to check what is what and what is not, he flatly dismisses it without bothering to check what he talking against, I would say that its an Ignorant man's cry :) one common reason what they all shout about is inaccuracy in predictions like for example 4 astrologers predicting 4 different things in a persons birth chart. the ultimate reason for such happenings is the astrologers with lack of Knowledge or people with no proper knowledge in astrology jumping the gun and claiming themselves to be "the best" that is a sad situation agreed but you cannot blame astrology for that, even today you will hear about a fake doctor being arrested, if there is a fake doctor in the doctors fraternity which is governed by a organized body imagine the condition of astrology or any other occult field which doesn't have a proper organization which give any sought of license ??? if a new built bridge comes down crashing the first person to be blamed is the engineer who was responsible in the constructing of the building right? have you ever seen any one blaming the civil engineering degree ? sadly or humorously that is the same thing which is happening in this case

If your answer is "yes he can" than it means GOD cannot do everything because he cannot lift the stone! if your answer is "no" then it means he cannot create a stone which again comes as God cannot do everything!

Beware of THE NEW "KICKBOXING MASTERS"

Are you interested in Kickboxing or about it learn this wonderful art? then BEWARE, this one is for you. There are lots of Martial Art teachers who had a long history of teaching has suddenly switched to "Kickboxing" and that too with no proper knowledge. The reason is because they are trying to cash in on the popularity of the art which is spreading quickly. If you are an amateur or even an intermediate in martial art chances are there that you won't be knowing the difference between Kickboxing and other arts and after enrolling your self with a fake master you will never get the real benefits of kickboxing and finally you may end up rating kickboxing cheaply. So beware and check the history of your master and try to find out what the master is really a master at before committing yourself to a Kickboxing Club

Are you a Martial Artist or a martial art Enthusiasts? Then this one is for you.

The most popular form of Martial arts is Karate, and today it is a MILLION DOLLAR industry. Majority of the clubs teach it in a SPORTS format, where there are certain rules and it has its own DOES and DON’T, and naturally you don’t practice in the way you fight in streets. You will be trained to win tournaments. Martial Arts in a sports format aims to win tournaments conducted by its associations and societies. This is mainly divided into 2 parts.
1. KUMITE (FIGHTING WITH AN OPPONENT) 2.KATA (FIGHTING WITH AN IMAGINARY OPPONENT).

FIGHTING METHOD IN MANY SPORTS KARATE CLUBS (NOT ALL CLUBS FOLLOW THESE RULES)
Some important fighting rules followed by the majority Karate clubs in the World
In sports tournaments

YOU HAVE TO TOUCH AND PULL BACK BEFORE 1 INCH OF YOUR TARGET (OPPONENT'S BODY).

IF YOU HIT (CONTACT) YOUR OPPONENT ONCE, YOU WILL BE GIVEN A WARNING.

SECOND TIME, YOU WILL BE GIVEN ANOTHER WARNING.

AND THE THIRD TIME YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

HITTING ON YOUR OPPONENTS BACK IS FOUL.

ATTACKS BELOW THE HIP IS FOUL.

AFTER SCORING EACH POINT THE MATCH WILL BE STOPPED AND THE
REFEREE WILL ANNOUNCE THE POINTS AND THEN IT WILL BE CONTINUE.

By hitting your opponents face, throat or groin directly, you may be disqualified in the first warning itself, if the referee feels that if you have done it purposely.

Minor changes are made according to styles.

I REPEAT THIS IS THE CASE OF MAJORITY OF THE CLUBS IN THE WORLD, NOT ALL.

Now if you practice in this method how you do expect to protect your self in the streets?

Will you ask your opponent to hit in SELECTED AREAS?
Will you tell him to just TOUCH AND PULL BACK?
Or will you explain him the RULES IN WHICH YOU ARE TRAINED?

NO WAY

THIS CLEANLY SHOWS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE WAY A STUDENT PRACTISES IN DOJO (CLASS), TOURNAMENTS ETC. AND THE WAY A PERSON FIGHTS IN STREET.

IT IS LIKE PRACTISING SWIMMING WITHOUT WATER AND PROMISING TO SWIM WHEN THE FLOOD COMES.

IF YOU WANT TO SUCCESSFULLY FACE A STREET FIGHT, YOU SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST FACED A SITUATION SIMILAR TO IT.

YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCED PAIN (NOT PAIN BY EXERCISING)


YOU SHOULD BE READY FOR ANYTHING; THERE IS NO ONE TO STOP YOU WHEN YOU HAVE HIT YOUR OPPONENT ONCE OR WHEN YOU’RE INJURED, AS IN TOURNAMENTS.

FRANKLY THE MORE STARS YOU HAVE COUNTED IN YOUR HEAD BEFORE, THE BETTER THE CONTROL YOU WILL HAVE.

MOST OF THE MASTERS HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED ANY REAL TIME STREET FIGHTS.

THE MORE RULES YOU FOLLOW, THE MORE DIFFICULT YOU WILL FACE IN STREET FIGHTS.

TECHNIQUES SHOULD BE TRAINED IN MUSCLE MEMORY TO BE FAST AND EFFECTIVE AND SHORT

THE MORE PROTECTIVE GEARS YOU USE THE MORE FEAR YOU WILL FEEL DURING STREET FIGHTS
